Linux install, control panel install, hostname, DNS, PHP, MariaDB, mail server, SSL, firewall and a hardening pass before we hand it over.
Monitoring around the clock, OS and panel and PHP updates, database and web server maintenance, and we investigate a failed service rather than telling you it failed.
Apache and Nginx configuration, PHP changes, DNS, mail and SSL troubleshooting, and performance investigation when a site slows down.

A single business running its own sites does not need these, and folding them into everyone's price would only make the plan dearer for the people who do not. Add them when you need them.

If you would rather keep root and do your own patching, our unmanaged VPS costs less. If a failed service at three in the morning is your problem to solve, it is the wrong saving. Tell an engineer what you run and we will say honestly which one fits.
Managed VPS FAQ
Everything in the Scope section above: we build the server, patch it, monitor it, secure it, back it up and fix it when something breaks. You use the control panel and get on with your business.
Yes, root is yours on request. We ask that you tell us before making system-level changes so our monitoring and our configuration do not fight each other.
The servers and the management are identical. cPanel licences simply cost more than DirectAdmin licences, and we pass that difference through rather than averaging it across every customer.
If you already know cPanel or your developers do, take cPanel. If you are starting fresh and want the lower monthly cost, DirectAdmin does the same job and is lighter on resources.
All managed VPS plans are provisioned in our United States data center on KVM virtualisation with enterprise NVMe storage.
