FAQs

Buying Microsoft 365 from us

What is a Microsoft tenant, and do I need one? +

A tenant is your own space inside Microsoft 365: your users, your mailboxes, your files. Every subscription lives in one. If you do not have a tenant we create it as part of your order, and you tell us the name it should carry.

I already have Microsoft 365. Can I move it to you? +

Yes. Give us your existing tenant ID at checkout and we attach the new subscription to it, so your users and data stay exactly where they are. Microsoft asks you to confirm the change: we send one invitation that covers both the reseller relationship and the admin access described below, and a global admin of yours accepts it once.

Which country do I choose at checkout, and can I change it later? +

Choose the country your business is registered in, and choose carefully. Microsoft fixes a tenant's country when it is created and it can never be changed: it sets your billing currency, the tax you are charged and which data centres hold your data. Moving country later means a new tenant and migrating everything into it.

How soon does it work after I pay? +

A person checks every Microsoft order before it is placed, because a tenant and a subscription both start billing the moment they exist. Once accepted, the subscription is created within minutes and the administrator details reach the email address you gave us.

Will you have access to our Microsoft 365? +

Only if you grant it, and only to what you approve. The invitation we send covers delegated administration: one of your global admins accepts it in the Microsoft admin centre, it is time limited, and you can end it yourself at any moment from the same page. Without it we can see your subscription and your invoices but cannot act inside your tenant, which also means we cannot fix anything for you.

How do I give a licence to someone on my team? +

In Microsoft's own admin centre, at admin.microsoft.com. We sell you the seats; who uses them is yours to set, and Microsoft is the only place that can do it.

Can we use our own domain for email? +

Yes. A new tenant starts on a yourname.onmicrosoft.com address, and you add your own domain in the Microsoft admin centre by proving you own it with a DNS record. Mail then works as you@yourcompany.com. Ask us if you would rather we handled the DNS side.

How many seats can I buy? +

Start at one and add as many as you need. Microsoft caps the Business family (Business Basic, Standard and Premium) at 300 seats per tenant, and that is 300 across all three combined rather than 300 of each. Enterprise plans have no seat cap.

Can I add or remove seats later? +

Seats can be added at any time and are charged for the rest of the term. Seats cannot be removed part way through a billing cycle. A reduction takes effect at the end of the cycle you are in, so tell us before it renews and the smaller number applies from the next one. Both are done from your account with us.

What if we grow past 300 people? +

Move to an Enterprise plan such as Microsoft 365 E3 or E5, which have no cap. Both can live in the same tenant while you move people across, so nobody loses access on the day you switch. Talk to us before you get close and we will price the change.

Can different people have different plans? +

Yes. One tenant can hold several subscriptions at once and you decide which plan each person gets, so a few people can be on Business Premium while everyone else is on Business Basic. You pay for the seats you assign on each plan.

Monthly or annual? +

Annual works out about 19 percent cheaper per seat on most plans and fixes the price for the year; monthly costs more and lets you change your mind sooner. That gap is Microsoft's own difference between the two terms rather than a discount we add, and you can see it in the table above by comparing twelve months of the monthly price against the annual price beside it. Seats can be added on either term; the difference is when a reduction can take effect, which is the end of the month on a monthly plan and the end of the year on an annual one.

When am I invoiced, and in which currency? +

Per seat, on the term you chose: monthly plans invoice every month, annual plans once a year. We invoice ahead of Microsoft's renewal date so nothing lapses while a payment is in flight. Prices are shown and charged in US dollars, Thai baht or Taiwan dollars, whichever matches where you are.

Do discount codes work on Microsoft plans? +

No. These are sold at the price shown. Microsoft settles New Commerce subscriptions on fixed terms that leave no room to recover a discount afterwards, so promotion codes are switched off on this part of the catalogue.

Can I cancel? +

Not part way through a billing cycle. A Microsoft subscription runs to the end of the cycle you have paid for, and a cycle that has already started is not refunded. What you can do at any time is switch off automatic renewal from your account: the subscription keeps working until the end of the term you have paid for, then stops, with nothing further to pay.
